Who says we throw the party system out the window?

I am so sick of hearing people acting like either the democrats or republicans are all saints and every descision they make is golden. I speak to people who are 'obsessed' with McCain and Palin but barely know what theyre about. I also speak to people that just bash them for no reason and are practically forming a cult around Obama. It has to stop. People who dont even know about the issues, policies or ideaoligies of politicians support them blindly just because of their party affiliation. I feel like the vast majority of people i know just vote down the line one party without even being educated about it. I think they should get rid of this disgusting party system and force people to choose the leaders they actually believe in. im sick of the bickering between democrats and republicans. its constant. its senseless. it needs to stop. the founding fathers were so against factionalism which is clearly what this is. they would be disgusted.
