Social Services want to take her 5th child away?

Ok so this is for a friend who is currently in hospital with her 5th child. My friend had her first child taken away from her when she was 15. She has always wanted a family. I do not know what happened when she was 15 but believe it was bad. She is now in hospital with her 5th child. All the other children are in care. When the social services came to the hospital with her last children she signed them over but this time she has not. She has changed allot since she was 15 as she is now 29. She tried her hardest to get them back. This time the social services came to the hospital to ask her to sign the child over to them. She went into the meeting and they told her they are going to take him. They asked her to sign and she said no i need to get back to my child. They told her they would be back monday to collect the child. But returned yesterday to said that they will not take him monday but she has to appear at court on wednesday. I believe this is because they have not been granted a court order on the child. She has not left the hospital as she is unsure if she should. 'even tho she has been told her and the baby are fine'. What is this about, does she have any chance of keeping him. I can see she has changed and is very good with him. What is the next step for her?...Thanks Jess Xx
