36 weeks and onl 1 cm dailated and 15% effected does it mean i wont go into labor soon?

im have alot of contractions i have them live 3 times or 4 aday and they r very painfull but im still not effected or dailated that much which makes me think im gonna be late ? its my first pregnancy
