Fireplace question......................…

You need to turn the valve off and on a few times until maybe it seats and there is no flame. After the flame is out...check to see if you can smell any egg odor from that area. Also if there is a outside shut off outside the house..you may want to turn it off also. Make sure this shut off only turns off the fireplace area and not the rest of your home appliances. Don't worry about the little blue flame..It is burning about the same amount of oxygen as a cigarette! Good Luck.
